Welcome to Lunar Events, an immersive mobile entertainment company resting in the heart of the South Coast.

Hi there! My name is Taylor-Jayne Rowe, and at Lunar Events we specialise in captivating craft workshops that encourage people of all abilities to tap into their inner creative. We offer craft workshops for birthdays and events, and educational workshops suitable for Key Stages 2 and 3.

I was inspired to start Lunar Events during the pandemic as technology began permeating our daily life; online meetings, online classes, online entertainment… During that time, and the years after, my life became a series of exchanging screens: phone, computer, television, phone, car, phone…. My mental health and physical health began to suffer; my anxiety deteriorated, I developed back pain and eye strain and decided that enough was enough.

I turned all of the screens off and turned to art. My anxiety melted away with a stroke of a brush and my mood improved as I created art I was proud of; pieces to gift to my loved ones. Art became an escape from the digital noise of the world, and I want to share that escape with you.

Drawing on my experience in primary education, our workshops are meticulously designed to engage participants of all ages, sparking imagination and encouraging self-expression.
